Pure Maidens, Pure Intentions

(Universe 2)

Universe 2 is, and will continue to be a very tricky team to describe, as it was the main core for Female Warriors for a very long time, and for good reason. The Sparking U2 trio of Ribrianne, Kakunsa, and Rozie are extremely cohesive and work together in a way that no other set of units has been able to replicate so far. In fact, since they still work together so well, they're still considered a viable team, albeit one that takes certain units and a lot of skill to pull off in this PvP environment. Generally speaking, you'll want to start with Kakunsa, do as much damage as possible with her, tank with Ribrianne while reducing the opponent's defenses, and have Rozie come in and inflict status effects such as Paralyze and Faint just to finish them off. It's a wonderful team, and it works viciously well when not paired against the Vegito Blue Titan Teams of Many Stars. With the introduction of the Extreme U2 trio, you gain not only the two missing colors for this team, but also enough variability to run basically any of these units with each other. If you're missing one or two though, that's to be expected, and the Old Core Units section will never be wiped, so you can look there for more options.

The primary core color triangle of this team is PUR-BLU-YEL, and it's not something you want to deviate from on this team unless you absolutely have to. Because the U2 trio works so well together, it's hard to find units that can substitute for one or another. The other U2 members, the EX trio, make this even more variable for the reader, as you can basically run whichever 3 units you would like on the team if you have them. Due to this, though, there is a noticeable health buff lacking, but as I assume you don't have all 6 of the U2 members, you can easily substitute GRN Mai in as needed. However, because it revolves around the 2 Ribs, 2 Kakunsas, and 2 Rozies, the bench units can easily be changed out as long as which ever core you want to run isn't touched within reason.

The Quick View

BLU Ribrianne

Rib is a Defense Type unit with one of the highest health stats in the game, along with a massive array of cute yet powerful moves and a decent kit considering her age. For this team, she is definitely the tank unit, but she still has enough offensive power to throw down if needed with her powerful strike buffs with her green card or even as her allies fall. Additionally, she has high utility with high percentages of inflicting paralyze on two cards as well as having a lock-in on her main ability-- something no other Female Warrior has. Rib also possesses a double defense buff, which just all around makes her a viable unit. She holds the tags Female Warrior, Transforming Warrior, Universe 2, and Rival Universe.

In terms of availability, Rib is a general pool unit that appears on any banner with Female Warriors, as well as the Ultra Space Time GSP banner. Because of this, she is fairly common to get, especially considering her being far older than her two teammates, one of which is one of the rarest units to come by. In order to push her to 6 Stars where she really shines, it may be necessary to use Multi Z Power on her, which one should only do if you like running Female Warriors, as she is easily one of the best benches outside of her decent core gameplay.

Rib's first Passive, Advocate of Love, has multiple effects take place when she first enters the battlefield, with a 15% Reduced Damage Received buff for 15 counts for her and an Attribute Downgrade "+30% to Strike Damage Received" debuff for 20 counts for all opponents.

Her second Passive, A Maiden's Rage, is one of the best Last Man (or woman, i suppose) Standing buffs in the game, with 30% Strike Damage Inflicted per defeated teammate and an additional 25% Damage Inflicted per defeated teammate with "Tag: Female Warrior". This adds up to a maximum of 60% Strike Damage Inflicted and 50% Damage Inflicted if she is in fact the last unit standing on this team, and allows her to easily tear through even somewhat tanky GRN units.

For her main ability, Song of Love and Victory!, which is available after 25 counts, Rib draws her ult card, and locks all enemies for 10 counts. This is extremely useful for making opponents waste their vanish and then either hitting them with the ultimate card, and then switching into another unit, usually Kakunsa, and then combo-ing them to death.

Z I - +17% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Defense during battle.

Z II - +20% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Defense during battle.

Z III - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z IV - +25% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Rib holds two normal strike cards in her team hand when used in battle, and neither her strike card nor her blast card have and special effects when she uses them.

Her blue card, Pretty Cannon, is a blast type blue and gives her a 15% Damage Inflicted buff for 15 counts when used, and has a 50% Paralyze chance on contact. Additionally, people tend to not be able to dodge this move, similarly to LFza's.

For her green card, Lovely Pose, a buff type green, Rib has a very nice pink background and smile, and she also inflicts all enemies with an Attribute Downgrade "+30% to Damage Received" for 25 counts, making this very cute move exceptionally deadly.

Rib's ultimate card, Ribrianne Eternal Love, randomly destroys 3 of the enemy's cards on hit, as well as having a 70% Paralyze Chance. It is also exceptionally stylish.

PUR Kakunsa

Kakunsa is a Melee Type unit with an absolutely devastating strike attack based kit that starts off hot and slows as the battle continues. At her prime, her strike attack combos are comparable to those of even extremely popular "meta" units such as Super Saiyan Kefla 2 (DBL23-05S) without the need to ramp up by collecting strike attack buffs. Additionally, she is one of the units with the rare full vanish restore on her main ability, which makes her perfect for creating an oppressive offense usually restricted to teams with multiple offense-typed units. Outside of her strike attack, she has good defenses and a decent support kit, but very low blast attack. She hold the tags Female Warrior, Transforming Warrior, Universe 2, and Rival Universe.

Kakunsa's availability is fairly limited, as she is only featured on Female Warrior banners, but she was recently introduced as a general pool unit in gachas such as the free anniversary summon that had all of the general pool units available. Because of this, it may be worth it to use Multi Z Power to get her to 4 Stars at the very least, as her defense buff isn't necessary, but is still very much appreciated. Additionally, Kakunsa is considered the best unit out of the Universe 2 trio in terms of the current meta, and is still very much usable outside of niche, but hella fun teams like this.

Kakunsa's first Passive, The Thunder of the Wild, gives her extremely strong early game buffs with -10 to her Strike card cost and a 40% Strike Damage Inflicted buff for the first 60 counts. This is where most of her damage comes from, as she hits hard with 9 Ki cost strike cards and Bleed while most units don't have their buffs up.

Her second Passive, Hunter of Love, has effects that occur when certain events are triggered:

  • Kakunsa Enters the Battlefield - Gains 40% Damage Inflicted if she has a "Tag: Female Warrior" teammate, and 20% Strike Damage Inflicted if there is a "Tag: Universe 2" teammate.

  • Kakunsa Evades an Attack with a Vanishing Step - Restores her Ki by 20.

  • Kakunsa is KO'd - All allies gain 20% Damage Inflicted and have their health restored by 15%.

For her main ability, Love's Hurrah, which is available after 5 counts, Kakunsa draws a Strike card, restores her Vanish Gauge by 100%, and changes all of her Blast cards to Strike cards. The changed cards retain their Dragon Balls.

Z I - +19% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack during battle.

Z II - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack and +5% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Strike Attack during battle.

Z III - +25% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack & Defense and +10% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Strike Attack during battle.

Z IV - +28% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack & Defense and +15% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Strike Attack during battle.

Kakunsa holds two normal strike cards in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, her blast card has no special effects when she uses it, but her strike cards have a 50% Bleed chance against the opponent when she uses one.

Her blue card, Flash Claw, is a strike type blue and inflicts the opponent with an Attribute Downgrade "+15% Strike Damage Received" for 15 counts on hit, as well as having 100% chance of Heavy Bleed on hit. It is teachable to Shallot.

For her green card, Lovely Pose, a buff type green, Kakunsa gains a striking blue background and smirk, and also inflicts an Attribute Downgrade "+15% Strike Damage Received" for 15 counts on all enemies and gives all allies with the "Tag: Female Warrior" 20% Strike Damage Inflicted for 15 counts.

YEL Rozie

Rozie is a Ranged Type unit that focuses primarily on assisting her teammates with Paralyze and Faint debuffs, as well as Ki Restore and Health Restore proc'ed by certain requirements. Outside of her fairly stellar support for a ranged unit, Rozie deals a large amount of damage with her blasts and is the best Yellow unit for Female Warriors currently available. Additionally, she works exceedingly well with her Universe 2 compatriots rounding out the team with a middle ground between defense and offense, by providing both along with utility. She holds the tags Female Warrior, Transforming Warrior, Universe 2, and Rival Universe.

Rozie is considered one of the rarest units in the game to have, which is partially caused by her being only on Female Warrior banners, and partially because she just... rarely shows up. Because of this, if you do manage to obtain her, you're most likely going to be required to use Multi Z Power to get her to at least 4 Stars before you go and attack PvP for the extra boosts in stats. It isn't required to get her to 6 Stars, but it is extremely helpful as she gives herself an additional blast buff as well as a defense buff on top of it.

Rozie's first Passive, Accelerating Fist, gives buffs depending on how many counts have elapsed from the start of the battle, with 20% Damage Inflicted and 1 Arts Card Draw Speed increase for 10 counts elapsed and 20 counts elapsed, with both buffs stacking and non-expiring, but still removable.

Her second Passive, Warrior of Love, grants herself 40% Damage Inflicted when an allied "Tag: Female Warrior" is defeated, and an additional 20% Blast Damage Inflicted if the Female Warrior also has "Tag: Universe 2". Additionally, each time Rozie defeats an enemy, she restores all allies' health by 15%, and when she is defeated, she restores all allies' health by 15% and grants 20% Damage Inflicted.

For her main ability, The Strike of Love, which is available after 20 counts, Rozie draws a blue card, restores her Ki by 60, and changes all of her strike cards to blast cards, keeping the same Dragon Balls attached.

Z I - +19% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack during battle.

Z II - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack and +5% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Blast Attack during battle.

Z III - +25% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack & Defense and +10% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Blast Attack during battle.

Z IV - +28% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack & Defense and +15% to "Tag: Universe 2" base Blast Attack during battle.

Rozie holds two normal blast cards in her team hand when used in battle, and her blast cards have no special effects attached to them when she uses them, but her strike cards have a 30% to inflict Paralyze on hit.

Her blue card, Yacchaina Fist, is a blast type blue that inflicts the opponent with an Attribute Downgrade "+15% to Blast Damage Received" for 15 counts on hit, as well as a 20% chance to inflict Faint on hit. It can be taught to Shallot.

Rozie's green card, Lovely Pose, is a buff type green, where she gives a shy but warm smile and has a beautiful soft yellow background. Additionally, she inflicts the opponent with "+15% to Blast Damage Received" for 15 counts, and grants all "Tag: Female Warrior" allies 20% Blast Damage Inflicted for 15 counts.

EX YEL Ribrianne

EX Rib is a Support Type unit, and a very powerful one at that, bringing in a brand new tag and a strong buff for it at the same time. She allows for a large amount of switching with her blue cards, and stacks debuffs whenever she joins or exits the fray, along with dealing some solid damage on the way. Because she shares a color with Rozie, she can be used in tandem with her or to replace her in the event you don't have her, or if you're feeling spicy and use both. Either choice is fantastic for the team, and they both bring their own benefits, but EX Rib has a bit more utility and a bit less RNG reliance, as well as allowing for much faster swap-ins. She holds the tags Female Warrior, Transforming Warrior, Universe 2, and Rival Universe.

In terms of availability, she has only appeared on her debut banner of Legends Justice Against Evil of October 2020, which means she's a very new unit, and therefore somewhat hard to obtain. However, her bench buffs are very good, and it is recommended to use Multi Z Power in order to raise her stars to at least 3 so she can buff other Female Warriors, as well as her fellow Rival Universe members. However, she is a fantastic unit either way, despite being sadly, a reskin.

EX Rib's main ability, Sudden Love, is available after 15 counts, and gives 50 Ki, 60% Damage Inflicted for 10 counts, and increases her Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level for 10 counts as well. This allows her to deal very strong burst damage early on, particularly with her strong supportive cards.

Her first Passive, The Power of a Smile, causes all opponents to gain 15% Damage Received and +5 Special Arts Cost for 15 counts whenever EX Rib is swapped into the field or out of the field. Combined with her blue card and other Female Warrior's support, she can very easily constantly swap in and out for stacking debuffs on your opponent.

For her second Passive, A Maiden's Wrath, EX Rib gains 5% Damage Inflicted, which does not expire, each time an ally is hit with a Strike, Blast, or Blue card, up to a constant, but cancellable 50% Damage Inflicted buff. Additionally, she gives 25% Damage Inflicted when she is defeated to her allies, and this buff cannot be cancelled.

Z I - +22% to "Tag: Rival Universe" base Strike Attack during battle.

Z II - +26% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack & Defense during battle.

Z III - +30% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack & Defense during battle.

Z IV - +35% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike Attack & Defense during battle.

EX Rib holds one normal blast card and one strike card with a 100% chance to seal a random card in the opponent's hand for 5 counts whenever it is used in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, neither blast nor strike have any special effects when used by her.

Her blue card, Pretty Cannon, is a blast type blue, and shortens all allies' substitution counts by 3 when it hits.

Her green card, Lovely Pose, is a buff type green, that while it may copy the aesthetics of the BLU Rib unit, grants 20% Damage Inflicted to her allies, not including herself (I'll double check the wording in a bit), and grants 30% Sustained Damage Cut Pierce for 20 counts to her allies and herself.

EX GRN Kakunsa

Charging in full blast, claws out, we have EX Kakunsa, a Defense Type unit who acts like a Melee Type with a strong set of strike damage, while still managing the strong combo-killing abilities that Defense Types are known for. While her stats may not be the highest, for an EX unit she is extremely strong, and comes with a great set of equips that will make her performance even more noticeable, particularly when it comes to tanking incoming attacks to divert them away from your squishier, more offensive focused units. That isn't to say that EX Kakunsa can't put on the hurt herself, what with the multitudes of Bleed she can inflict and the strike buffs she gains. She holds the tags Universe 2, Rival Universe, Transforming Warrior, and Female Warrior.

As a unit that has only appeared on her debut banner in September 2020, Kakunsa is a very rare Extreme unit, and if you have her, it's highly recommened to use Multi Z Power to get her to at least 3 Stars, if not 6. This is because her Z Ability will become the backbone of what is expected to be one of the largest, most diverse teams in the game in the form of Rival Universe. However, because of this Z Ability, it can be theorized that she will be a frequent visitor on many Rival Universe banners in the future.

EX Kakunsa's main ability, Wild Love, is available after 15 counts and grants 50% Strike Damage Inflicted for 30 counts and gradually restores all allies' health each count for 30 counts, along with inflicted all enemies with Attribute Downgrade "-1 Arts Card Draw Speed level" for 15 counts.

Her first Passive, Magnificent Huntress, grants 40% Damage Inflicted and 30% Reduced Damage Received, both for 15 counts, whenever she enters the battlefield.

Her second Passive, Primal Instincts, randomly destroys one enemy card while changing cover, and draws a green card when this ability activates, up to two times.

Z I - +22% to "Tag: Rival Universe" base Strike Defense during battle.

Z II - +26% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z III - +30% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z IV - +35% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

EX Kakunsa holds one normal blast card and one normal strike card in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, blast cards have no special effect when used by her, but strike cards have a 50% chance to inflict Bleed on hit.

Her blue card, Flash Claw, a strike type blue, has a 100% chance to inflict Strong Bleed and reduces the opponent's Ki by 50 whenever this attack hits. While not as powerful as her counterpart's, it does a significant chunk of damage to the opponent's combo capability with half their Ki being stolen when this move hits.

For her green card, Lovely Pose, a buff type green, EX Kakunsa strikes the same dashing pose as her SP counterpart, complete with blue background, but instead grants 20% Damage Inflicted to all allies for 20 counts and gives herself a 20% Sustained Reduced Damage Received buff that lasts until the opponent's next combo is over. It cannot be stacked.

EX RED Rozie

EX Rozie, who is surprisingly not a Melee Type, is a Ranged Type unit with a kit similar to her Sparking counterpart's, but with some noticeable differences mostly in how fast she's able to spam her favorite Blast cards. A highly offensively based Extreme unit, EX Rozie hits fast and hard with her attacks, and is no slouch with her debuffs if she switches out to regain her vanish or give some buffs. On top of that, she also has the Paralyzing ability of her counterpart, but guaranteed this time in combination with her green card. She holds the tags Universe 2, Rival Universe, Transforming Warrior, and Female Warrior.

Being introduced in October 2020, the month this section was written, EX Rozie is officially the rarest Extreme unit in the game so far, and as such it isn't expected that you have her right off the bat. Her buffs are a little weird and can easily be swapped out for SP GRN Mai or EX RED Videl if you don't have her or want slightly more defense for the team. But Multi Z Power is apparently the key to everything in this game, and offers a nice double blast buff for Rival Universe and Female Warriors if you decide to use her.

EX Rozie's main ability, Believe in Love!!, is available after 10 counts, and grants 30% Damage Inflicted to all allies for 30 counts, and shortens all active substitution counts by 5.

Her first Passive, Mastered Style, grants 40% Damage Inflicted for 15 counts whenever EX Rozie enters the battlefield. Additionally, if there are any units with "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warriors" in your party, she also draws a blue card up to two times and inflicts the opponent with Attribute Downgrade "+10 to Strike & Blast costs" for 15 counts. Since this team is comprised of both, this will always trigger.

Her second Passive, Free-Form Barrage, inflicts the opponent with Attribute Downgrades "+30% to Damage Received", "-1 Arts Card Draw Speed level", and "-50% to Health Restoration", each for 15 counts whenever EX Rozie swaps out.

Z I - +22% to "Tag: Rival Universe" base Blast Defense during battle.

Z II - +26% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack & Defense during battle.

Z III - +30% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack & Defense during battle.

Z IV - +35% to "Tag: Rival Universe" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack & Defense during battle.

EX Rozie holds one normal blast card and one blast card that restores 5 ki on use in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, strike cards have no special effects, but blast cards gain a "-20% to Ki Recovery" debuff on hit when used by her.

Her blue card, Yacchaina Fist, a blast type blue, grants 20% Blast Damage Inflicted for 10 counts upon activation, along with having a 30% chance to inflict Paralyze on hit.

For her green card, Lovely Pose, EX Rozie replicates her ever cute yellow-themed pose, and restores her Ki by 30, along with gaining a 100% chance for the next Strike or Blast card to inflict Paralyze on hit. This ability cannot be stacked, but the Ki can.

Older Core Units

BLU Bulma (Youth)

Blue Bulma is a Support Type unit that is very old, and unfortunately, this shows in her fairly basic kit. She is very good to use in certain circumstances with her extremely tricky green card and still impressive ally buffs, but her stats and attacking kit leave much to be desired. This is especially evident on Pure Maidens, Pure Intentions because she is competing against Rib for a spot on the team as they are both BLU units. Blue Bulma can put in some serious work with some support from her age allowing her to have naturally higher stars, along with her double attack Z Ability, which is unique for Female Warriors, but for this team, sticking with the U2 trio is your best bet. She holds the tag Female Warrior.

As stated above, Blue Bulma is a pretty old unit, having debuted in the 9th month of the game's operation, which makes her somewhat easy to obtain. She is a general pool unit for all Female Warrior and Dragon Ball Saga banners, as well as being featured on Rush Limited!. Because of this, as well as her inclusion as a 100 Z Power purchase in the Kidku Legends Road, she's probably already in your box, but her star levels may be low. At least that's how it goes for me, but I've seen many others with far too many copies of her.

Blue Bulma's first Passive, Girl Genius, pairs extremely well with her green card, as she shortens her own substitution count by 2 automatically, making her very easy to switch into and out of for extra vanishes or buffs.

Her second Passive, Assist (Female Warrior): Inflicted Damage UP, is pretty self-explanatory, as it grants 50% Damage Inflicted to an allied "Tag: Female Warrior" for 10 counts when Blue Bulma switches to standby.

For her main ability, I'm a Lady, After All, which is available after 25 counts, she draws her ultimate card and restores all ally health by 10% and all allied "Tag: Female Warrior" by another 10%.

Z I - +17% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack during battle.

Z II - +20% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Attack during battle.

Z III - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Attack during battle.

Z IV - +25% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Attack during battle.

Blue Bulma has two normal blast cards in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, neither her strike nor blast cards have any special effects when she uses them.

Her blue card, Rocket Launcher, is a blast type blue that... doesn't actually have any special effects this time. So sad.

For Blue Bulma's green card, Dragon Radar, she immediately switches characters into the lower of the standby characters, meaning the one closest to her, and gives 15% Damage Inflicted for 20 counts to all allies along with gaining 1 Dragon Ball.

Her ultimate card, Unexpected Hold, cancels enemy Attribute Upgrades and Buff Effects on hit due to the uhhh... unique circumstances of this card.

RED Android #18

RED 18 is a Defense Type unit with a spectacularly built kit solely made for ending combos and helping allies. On this team, she primarily is used for her Z Ability, as well as being currently the best RED unit for Female Warriors. She is a decent check against any particularly annoying YEL units, such as Yelgito and Kidku, but she still definitely needs help finishing them off. Additionally, she breaks up the synergy that the U2 trio have, meaning that unless you absolutely have to, she shouldn't see the field on this team. RED 18 holds the tags Female Warrior, Android, and Twins.

In terms of availability, she is usually on most Female Warrior banners after her debut, which makes her fairly easy to obtain when those banners are featured. However, from most players' accounts, they usually only pull her once or twice, which can make it difficult to get her to 6 stars or higher. Seeing as she is a double defense buffer, though, makes the grind worth it. And while this technically may not be a specific reason to run her, her blue card is by far one of the most disrespectful to kill with (it also looks great on Shallot).

For her first Passive, Clever Negotiations, she inflicts the enemy with a +30% to Damage Received debuff for 20 counts when she enters the battlefield, and when changing cover, she also seals 1 enemy card slot at random for 5 counts and inflicts all enemies with +20 to Arts Costs for 5 counts. Additionally, if the enemy switches units while she is on the battlefield, the enemy's Dragon Ball count is reduced by one up to three times.

Her second Passive, Precise Assist, is part of what makes this team work so well. When RED 18 is switched to standby, she gives certain buffs depending on what Battle Style the member being switched in is.

  • Melee Type: +30% to Strike Damage inflicted for 15 counts and restores health by 10%

  • Ranged Type: +30% to Blast Damage inflicted for 15 counts and restores health by 10%

  • Support Type: +20% to Damage Inflicted for 15 counts and restores health by 10%

  • Defense Type: +30% to Damage Inflicted for 15 counts and restores health by 5%

RED 18's main ability, Gotta finish this fight quickly., is available after 5 counts, and reduces the cost of her Strike, Blast, and Blue Arts Card cost by 10 for 30 counts, along with increasing her Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 for 15 counts, and applying a "Nullify Abnormal Conditions" buff to all allies including herself for up to 2 times.

Z I - +17% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Defense during battle.

Z II - +20% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Blast Defense during battle.

Z III - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z IV - +25% to "Tag: Female Warrior" or "Tag: Android" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

RED 18 holds one normal strike and one normal blast card in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, she has no special effects on her strike or blast cards when she uses them.

Her blue card, Violent Shot, is a strike type blue and will bypass any strike card, and will Dokabaki Impact with any Strike Type Green or Blue card. When it is used, RED 18 gains +30% to Special Move Damage for 5 counts. It is teachable to Shallot (please do this).

Her green card, Refreshing Smile, is a buff type green that restores RED 18’s Vanish Gauge by 50%, and adds +5 to both her and her opponent’s green card 3 times, and it cannot be cancelled.

EX RED Videl

EX Videl is a Melee Type unit, that acts more like a support unit half the time with her large pool of damage cuts and healing cards. The other part of the time, she puts on some serious hurt with her strong Strike buffs and an immense Strike steroid in the form of her locking main ability. With her high base stats and shockingly strong defenses, EX Videl is not only a pain to kill, but also can dish out solid damage while you're waiting for the next opportunity to bring out your main damage dealer. For this team, she will primarily be used on the bench with her double defense Z Ability, but she does work well with the Universe 2 characters, particularly with Kakunsa. She holds the tag Female Warrior.

Her availability so far is limited to her debut banner of Legends Step-Up Proud to Fight in August 2020, which makes her somewhat rare in availability. If you do not have her, any other Female Warrior double defense buffer can be used in her stead, particularly RED 18, who is listed below in the Old Core Members section. And, of course, if you do have her, it's recommended, but not required to give her Multi Z Power in order to get a higher defense buff, as she comes with double defenses at Z1.

EX Videl's main ability, Competitive Fighter, is available after 20 counts, and locks in your opponents via 10 substitution counts, as well as granting EX Videl 80% Strike Damage Inflicted for 15 counts, making this ability perfect for locking in troublesome units and nuking them.

Her first Passive, Indomitable Spirit, grants her 20% Damage Inflicted and 20% Reduced Damage Received, each for 15 counts, whenever she enters the battlefield. Additionally, she gains stacking buffs depending on how long she has remained in the battlefield, namely 30% Strike Damage Inflicted at 3 counts, -5 Strike Cost at 8 counts, and 20% Damage Inflicted at 12 counts.

Her second Passive, Steeled Battle Spirit, grants her 40% Strike Damage Inflicted for 15 counts after the opponent's attack (once again, this means the combo meter resets), and gives a 30% Reduced Damage Received buff until the opponent's combo ends when she is changing cover.

Z I - +20% to "Tag: Female Warrior" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z II - +22% to "Tag: Female Warrior" or "Element: RED" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z III - +28% to "Tag: Female Warrior" or "Element: RED" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

Z IV - +30% to "Tag: Female Warrior" or "Element: RED" base Strike & Blast Defense during battle.

EX Videl holds two normal strike cards in her team hand when used in battle. Additionally, neither strike nor blast have any special effects when used by her.

Her blue card, Eagle Kick, is a strike type blue, and it has no special effects attached to it.

For her green card, Alright, We Got This!, which is a buff type green, EX Videl strikes an adorable pose and restores her health by 10%, along with gaining a non-stackable 15% Sustained Damage Cut until the opponent's next combo is finished.

GRN Mai

GRN Mai is a Support Type unit who is one of, if not the best, bench units for her Z Ability. Her support is invaluable to both Future and Female Warrior teams, and even in battle she has a fantastic array of options to keep her allies alive and hitting hard. However, as she is an older unit, she is quite fragile and doesn't hit very hard at all, but the bleed on her Strike and Blast cards make up for her lack of damage over time. She holds the tags Female Warrior and Future.

She is also a general pool unit, which means that you have a chance of getting her on any gacha pool that features Future or Female Warrior units. Additionally, she is available in Master's Pack 3, which increases your chance of getting her by a large amount.

For Mai's first Passive, Active Reload, she restores her own Ki by 30 and increases her Arts Card Draw Speed by 1 level for 10 counts when she first enters the battlefield, giving her a bit of an edge when it comes to stalling for the DPS to come back out.

Her second Passive, Tactical Retreat, mirrors her first Passive, and grants 30 Ki when she switches out to another character and gifts them 20% Damage Inflicted for 15 counts. If the unit being switched into is "Character: Trunks", then he gains an additional 10% Damage Inflicted for 15 counts.

Mai's main ability, Resistance Command, which is available after 10 counts, restores all allies' health by 20% and grants 15% Damage Inflicted for allies for 20 counts. This means the Damage Inflicted buff does not apply to her.

Z I - +15% to "Tag: Future" base Health during battle.

Z II - +18% to "Tag: Future" base Health during battle.

Z III - +23% to "Tag: Future" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Health during battle.

Z IV - +25% to "Tag: Future" or "Tag: Female Warrior" base Health during battle.

Mai has one normal strike card and one normal blast card in her team hand when brought into battle. When she uses a strike card, she has a 30% chance to inflict Bleed on the enemy, and when she uses a blast card, it increases to 50% chance to inflict Bleed.

Her blue card, Full Charge Shot, is a blast type blue and inflicts the enemy with an Attribute Downgrade of "+5 to Strike and Blast cost" for 20 counts when it connects. Additionally, this move has a base cost of 40 Ki.

Mai's green card, Flash Bang, is a blast type green that inflicts Flash on hit and randomly destroys 2 enemy cards on contact, along with inflicting all enemies with an Attribute Downgrade of "-1 Arts Card Draw Speed level" for 10 counts on hit. This green can also be used to stop Rising Rushes.

Mai's equips don't matter all that much since she is on bench most of the time, but here are some equips you could consider using if you decide to run her.
